Privacy and cookies
This page explains what the site stores in your browser, why it is stored, and what happens when you click through to one of our partners.
You decide what you want to allow. Your choice is at the bottom of this page, and you can change it at any time.
How this site makes money
The site compares products and links to the retailers that sell them. If you click through and make a purchase, the retailer pays us a commission. It does not raise your price.
For that payment to be traced back to the right click, a few pieces of information have to travel along with it. That is the main reason the site stores anything at all.
What is stored in your browser
All of the cookies below are first-party – they are set by this site, not by anyone else.
Necessary
Information the site needs in order to work.
| Cookie | Duration | Purpose |
|---|---|---|
gclid / gbraid / msclkid | 90 days | Stores the click ID from ads in cookies and databases for internal statistics and running ad campaigns. |
source | 30 days | Remembers which search engine or website sent you here, so traffic can be counted per source. |
landingpage | Session | Remembers which page you arrived on, so an outbound click can be reported together with where the visit started. |
ab_<test> | 4 hours | Keeps you on one ordering during a running position test, so a list does not reshuffle while you compare. |
cookieconsent | 90 days | Remembers that you have answered this choice, so you are not asked again. |
Analytics
Google Analytics stores data about how visitors use the site.
| Cookie | Duration | Purpose |
|---|---|---|
analytics_storage | 90 days | Permission for Google Analytics to store cookies in the browser to collect visitor statistics. |
Marketing

| Cookie | Duration | Purpose |
|---|---|---|
ad_storage | 90 days | Allows Google to store cookies in the browser for marketing purposes. |
ad_user_data | 90 days | Allows Google to receive data related to the site's visitors, for marketing purposes. |

What is passed on when you click
When you click a link to a retailer, you pass through a redirect on this site before you land on theirs. Two things happen there.
First, the link to the retailer is given a randomly generated ID for that particular click, along with the page you clicked from and the source that sent you here. That ID is what lets the retailer’s report and our own statistics refer to the same click.
Second, we store our own record of the click: which page it happened on, which product you clicked, what position it held in the list, which source sent the visit, your IP address and that same ID. We use the record to understand which pages and which positions actually work.
We do not send your name, email address or any other details you have given to a retailer. We don’t have such details – anything you fill in, you fill in on the retailer’s site, and that is their processing, not ours.
Third-party tracking tools
This site currently loads no tracking code from Google, Meta, Microsoft or anyone else. No third party gets to see your visit here.
The consent you give above is still stored, in the format Google Consent Mode uses. If we start using Google Analytics or Google Ads later, the tool reads the answer you have already given – you won't be asked again, and nothing is turned on unless you have said yes.
Your rights
The information above is linked to a random ID and an IP address, not to a name. If you still want to know what is stored, or have it corrected or deleted, you can contact us, the people who run this site.
If you don’t want your browser to store anything from this site, you can block cookies in your browser settings. The comparisons on the site will still work.
